Organizing the sector, adopting technologies and software that facilitate the monitoring of results obtained and improving the planning of the procurement process are some recommendations, but not only that. “All recurring acquisitions, new items to be purchased and projects must also be taken into consideration in this account”, adds Nei Tremarin, Chief Marketing Officer at Mercado Eletrônico.
Another suggestion is to categorize expenses. With updated and consolidated data, it becomes easier to assess, for example, where it is possible to cut costs or where it is worth investing to obtain quality stock in the long term. “With this, Purchasing activities, better known as 'back-office' activities, become a competitive advantage”, explains Tremarin.
