Brazil exports adult jabuticaba trees and generates 'Made in China' trees

In an unprecedented operation, jabuticaba trees planted in China are being taken. Since it is a native tree, authorization from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply was required.

“It is a project that will give us the opportunity to contribute to the planting of Brazilian fruit trees on Chinese soil,” said Guilherme Mafra, director of DC Logistics Brasil, responsible for transporting the 'live cargo'.

“Since this cargo needs sunlight, it is placed on top of the containers that are being taken to China and also so that the trees are the first to be unloaded,” says Dividino. Ribinski also says that if the vegetables arrive in good condition and “take off” on Chinese soil, the tendency is to expand this export modality, with the possibility of reaching 2 “Made in Brazil” trees exported to the Asian country within ten years. The chance of prosperity is high.
